South Bend—Marjorie Opal Grenard Goldsberry, 86, South Bend, formerly of Waynetown, died Sunday morning, March 12, 1989 in her home.
  She was born May 9, 1902 at Waynetown, the daughter of James E. and Anna Vinila Hauk. She was married March 25, 1923 at Waynetown to Alonzo E. Goldsberry, who preceded her in death in 1966.
  She was a homemaker and a 40-year member of the First Christian Church at South Bend. She served as an American Red Cross volunteer for 20 years.
  Surviving are a son, Thomas, Union City; a sister, Mary Servies, Waynetown; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, John.
  Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Welsheimer Funeral Home, South Bend, with the Rev. Richard Speleth officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Valley memorial Park at Granger. – thanks to s
